The story of Comment Picker

2015 & 2016

In 2015, our journey began with the launch of our website, featuring just one tool on the homepage: the Random Comment Picker for Facebook .

We were overjoyed to see the first visitors using our tool. The positive response inspired us to expand our offerings, leading to the creation of our next tool: the YouTube Random Comment Picker.

As frontend developers, we embarked on a learning journey, mastering the intricacies of the Facebook API and YouTube API. Along the way, we delved into the realms of SEO and online marketing, discovering how to grow a website and effectively manage online platforms.

2017

By 2017, we introduced one of our most beloved tools: the Instagram Comment Picker. This tool utilized the old Instagram API, allowing users to log in directly with their Instagram accounts.

However, the deprecation of the Instagram API in 2019 posed a challenge. Despite losing some visitors to competitors, we remained resilient, navigating through Facebook reviews and permissions to ensure our tool's functionality.

Today, users can log in with their Facebook accounts connected to Instagram, enabling them to seamlessly pick winners for their Instagram giveaways and contests.

2018

In 2018, we expanded our reach by creating a YouTube channel dedicated to providing tutorials on how to utilize our tools effectively. These instructional videos were also integrated into our platform, ensuring our users had access to comprehensive guidance.

2019, 2020 & 2021

In 2019, as more people started using our services, we added more tools. Originally, we just had social media tools, but we introduced new features like Random Name Picker and other Random Generators, all of which became very popular.

In 2020, we launched a blog on Comment Picker, offering valuable content on business growth, social media strategies, tool insights, and tutorials to empower our users.

2022

Our proudest moment arrived in 2022 with the launch of Comment Picker Premium. This premium offering provides an ad-free experience along with exclusive features and limits, supporting our business's growth and enabling us to develop even more innovative tools.

In 2023, we focused on making our website easier to use for everyone. We listened to your feedback and made changes to improve how you find and use our tools. We also worked hard to create new tools to help you even more. Plus, we started adding new languages to our website so more people can enjoy using it in their own language.

2024

Today, Comment Picker offers over 85 free tools, attracting 500K monthly unique visitors, 40K Facebook likes, 18K Instagram followers, 2500 YouTube subscribers and 1000 X (Twitter) Followers.
